“Amend: The Fight for America”

Netflix has released a 6-episode documentary that explores the 14th Amendment. The 14th Amendment was written in 1868 and it granted equal civil rights to African Americans who had been emancipated after the Civil War.

The Hollywood Reporter describes this documentary as "a powerful, multimedia journey through American history that encourages viewers to question what a 'United States' really means."
